History & Culture of Cibecue
|
|
There are two ideas of how Cibecue was named. One is that an Indian guide,
leading the first Army Scout into the area, said, "sha beh koh," which
loosely means, "This is where I live." The other theory is that it came
from an Apache word which means "Red Rock."
