There
are certain areas of the west valley that are doing well, but most people
wouldn't see those as family areas. The majority of crime tends to happen
on the west side versus the east side.
The far west valley is
really booming, but much of that is retirement community.

Far from it. There is quite a lot of
undeveloped land out there, and people are buying houses almost faster
than builders can build. That whole area (Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek,
Mesa) is growing quickly.
