We already know that the mood of dinner at a Mexican restaurant is set by the quality of chips and salsa delivered when you first arrive, right? At Serrano's, this complimentary appetizer is accompanied by perfectly textured and slightly spicy bean dip. They're already on my good side.

The London Bridge Ain't Fallin' Down

This past Sunday, my husband and I decided to venture out into the western portion of the state, an area I never really got a chance to explore. I've always had the desire to go to Lake Havasu City, being that a town formed along a river in Arizona always intrigued me. After a long desert landscape-filled drive which lasted close to four hours, we finally arrived. I was, to say the least, extremely impressed. Lake Havasu City turned out to be a great, modern, hip town.

A gentleman was driving through Arizona when he saw flashing red and blue lights in his rearview mirror. He promptly pulled to the side of the road, and noticing that his seatbelt was unbuckled, he quickly buckled it.

"Hello, officer," said the man. "I know I was in a little bit of a hurry; I apologize for that."

"I see you're from out of state, and you're following our state's seatbelt law," stated the officer.

"Yes sir, I always do."

"Do you always wear your seatbelt through your stearing wheel?"
