I just answered a grocery question here and it brings to mind a question I have. I've looked at some Tucson banks' internet sites (those that have them.)

Does anyone have a checking account which returns your original canceled checks with your statements? I know that practice is on its way out...but I still get them from my bank in Virginia (at no charge.) I wouldn't pay for it.

Gary20110,

One of the banks that I work with, East Valley Community Bank (only location is in Chandler), includes miniaturized copies of the checks on an 8.5" x 11".. I think they have about 10 checks to a page, so it's much easier to deal with this way. The actual check can be presented on request, they probably charge for it, but it's rare that you'd need the actual check after having the copy they send to you.

However, I don't really know of any other banks that have practices like this anymore.
