Eclipse

We saw the eclipse
Last night in Sedona
Which was beautiful.
We could have seen it
From our front porch,
But chose instead
To go down to Bell Rock.
Crossing and watching it
Over Cathedral Rock.
It wasn't earth-shakingly
Gorgeous, but powerful
And beautiful-I guess
Something that one
Should see, some time
In one's lifetime.
There's a solar eclipse
Coming to the end of
May-then again one
Of each in November.
